PURPOSE: To improve the capacity separating competitive diagnoses with each other and to improve the quality of diagnostic capability by practically leading the minute sign existing under the context of a certain diagnosis or the minute sign which does not exist. CONSTITUTION: A violated object is discriminated, input data is converted into qualitative data, that is, the remarkable directional change of data is detected, the diagnosis explaining a hypothesis, that is, the object violation is extracted from the diagnostic section of a knowledge data base KB, and an 'activation' is performed if a search route is matched with measured data. Next, the evidence which is required for the justification or confutation of the diagnosis is led and the context non-dependent subcategory of the KB is used. Lastly, the evidences led for each diagnosis are assembled and a user can select the most proper explanation for the object violation. Therefore, the two evidence sections of the KB are used. Thus, diagnostic capability is improved. |
