PURPOSE:To change respective electric current flows and enable the change of a spring constant by constituting closed loop electric circuits, arranging the first and second superconductors in such a way as to make the closed loop surfaces in parallel to each other and fitting a spring between the superconductors. CONSTITUTION:The superconducting rings 1 to 5 of a superconducting material have spring members 6 to 9 arranged in between, and provided around a support rod 10a. The lower part of the support rod 10a is housed in a movable part 12 and the lowermost superconducting ring 5 is fitted to the seat 12a of the movable part 12. A superconducting coil 11 is wound about the external surface of the cylindrical part 10c of a fixed part 10. When electric current is supplied to the superconducting coil 11, a magnetic line of force is generated and diamagnetic current occurs in the superconducting rings 1 to 5. Consequently, an attracting force is generated among the superconducting rings 1 to 5, working upon the spring members 6 to 9. It follows, therefore, that a spring constant for spring action between the movable part 12 and the fixed part 10 is varied by changing the amount of electric current. |
