PURPOSE:To uniformize each single transport value to a specified degree with high accuracy by constituting each gear composing a gear train in such a manner that the quotient obtained by dividing the rotating angle of the gear for transporting sheet material by a specified single transport value by a rotating angle corresponding to the single tooth pitch of said gear is an integer. CONSTITUTION:The rotary drive of a paper feed roller 6 is carried out by transmitting the rotary driving force of the paper feed motor to the paper feed roller 6 through a reduction gear mechanism consisting of four gears G1-G4. The gears G2, G3 rotate by rotational drive of the gear G1 by the paper feed motor, then the gear G4 rotates to a direction B and the paper feed roller 6 is driven by rotation to the same direction. After this, if each gear G1-G4 is set in such a way that th quotient obtained by dividing the rotating angle of the gear by a rotating angle phi deg. corresponding to a single pitch PO of gear tooth is an integer, a single transport enables the gear to rotate at a rotating angle equal to the integral multiple of the rotating angle phi deg. of a tooth pitch. Therefore, the gear is set to the same stop phase at every transport stop. Consequently, each gear is engaged in the same condition and thus each transport value can be uniformized to a specified degree with high accuracy. |
