Hydroxylmethylgruppen aufweisende Aldimine bzw. Ketimine und ein Verfahren zu ihrer Herstellung

Novel aldimines and ketimines which contain hydroxy methyl groups are provided. These new compounds are prepared by reacting Schiff's bases which have active hydrogen atoms in alpha -position to the C=N-group with formaldehyde or formaldehyde yielding compounds. The new compounds can, e.g., be used as plasticizing chain lengthening agents for the preparation of polyurethane plastics.
