PURPOSE:To precisely perform information processing on documents through simple constitution by providing a carrying means, a document arranging means which is arranged to be accessible to a carrying passage in the carrying means and rearranges documents under carrying force given by the carrying means to the documents, and a control means. CONSTITUTION:A carrying means 3 of a document processing device 1 takes in a bank book C through a taking in gate and carries it. In this case, a document arranging means 5 arranged on a carrying passage is conditioned to protrude into the carrying passage under control executed by a control means 19. Thus the bank hook C under carrying force given by the carrying means 9 abuts against the document arranging means 5 to be rearranged. The bank book C is thereafter carried by rollers 11a, 11b in the carrying means 3 in a direction denoted by X1, and undergoes information processing such as the reading process performed by a magnetic head 8 of magnetic strip information and necessary printing process performed by a printer 9. |
