<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a key from being mislaid by installing a keyless lock projection in a lock member, while checking the lock member coming into a state of being locked at the time of door openness, and making the lock member so as to come into a state of being locked if a door is operated to open. CONSTITUTION:An engagement releasing member 11, a lock member 13 and an open lever 17 are all fitted in a mounting shaft 9 pivotally supported on a ratchet 8. In addition, a keyless projection 25 is formed in an inner side of the member 13. In a door opening state, the ratchet 8 comes into contact with an outer circumferential surface of the member 13, and the member 11 is rotated clockwise by a pin 12, whereby a projection 26 of the member 11 gets into the underside of the projection 25, preventing the member 13 from coming into a state of being locked. However, if handle opening door operation takes place, the lever 17 and the member 13 both are rotated clockwise whereby each position of both these projections 26, 25 is shifted to some degree and moved to a lock position of the member 13. Consequently, a key can be prevented from being mislaid with one motion.</p> |
