PURPOSE:To enhance working efficiency, by continuously performing the bonding of a sponge seal part and that of decorative cloth by utilizing the heat at the time of extrusion. CONSTITUTION:In an extrusion molding machine 11, a seal sizing part 12 and a sponge seal part 13 are pressed to the surface of an extruded welt part 2 when the welt part 2 is subjected to extrusion molding along with a core metal 5 using a synthetic resin material and bonded thereto by utilizing the heat of the welt part 2 itself. Subsequently, decorative cloth 4 is successively pressed to the surface of the welt part 2 at a cloth bonding/sizing part 13 and bonded thereto by also utilizing the heat of the welt part 2 itself. Since the decorative cloth 4 is superposed on the sponge seal part 3 along the outsides of both side edges thereof, said cloth 4 is bonded to the surface of the welt part 2 on both sides of the sponge seal part 3 to obtain such a state that the decorative cloth 4 is beautifully bonded to the outer surface of a weather strip 1. |
