PURPOSE:To enable survey without being restricted by an arrival distance of a very weak radio wave even for a surveying ship using a very weak radio wave type telemeter transmitter, by transmitting a data obtained by a surveying with a self-propelled type unmanned surveying ship to the land through an guide line/guide rope. CONSTITUTION:A guide line/guide rope is installed, for example, between a base ship and the land 12 along a line to be surveyed and a self-advancing type unmanned surveying ship 1 runs along the guide line/guide rope 8 to perform a survey of the depth of wafer sequentially. A data measured is converted into a transmission data with a very weak radio wave type telemeter transmitter and coupled to a conductor of the guide line/guide rope 8 with an antenna coil 11 to be transmitted to the land 12. A very weak radio wave type telemeter receiver 6 on the land 12 inputs a received data into a data processor 7 to calculate a water depth, which is displayed on a CRT while being printed out with a printer. Thus, there is neither data processor nor recording means to be carried on the self-propelled type unmanned surveying ship 1 thereby enabling a smaller size thereof. |
