PURPOSE:To confirm safety by collecting images from primary lenses which are directed to the rear on both sides of a vehicle body in a secondary lens via optical fibers, photographing same with a TV camera and displaying each image side by side on monitors. CONSTITUTION:Primary lenses 1a, 1b are placed on both sides of a vehicle body being directed rearward and their images are collected in a secondary lens 12 provided in the center via optical fibers 2a, 2b. The images collected in the secondary lens are photographed by a TV camera 13, which are displayed on a pair of monitors 3a, 3b juxtaposed right and left via a controller 20. The directions of the primary lenses 1a, 1b are adjustable by means of angle adjusting sticks 6a, 6b. Thereby, the sight in the rear of the vehicle body can be displayed by the monitors placed in a position naturally visually recognizable by a driver enabling him to confirm safety. |
