PURPOSE:To prevent a self-sinterable powdery carbonaceous material from being deteriorated with time, by storing it in a nonoxidizing atmosphere. CONSTITUTION:A self-sinterable powdery carbonaceous material such as coal tar-derived mesophase microspheres, petroleum-derived mesophase microspheres or grindable coke is stored in a nonoxidizing atmosphere, for example, by packing it in a gas-impermeable bag or vessel. |
