This invention relates to N-(.omega.-glycidoxyalkyl)-substituted amide compounds, namely, N-substituted amide compounds in which the amide groups of amide compounds have been substituted ?y .omega.-glycidoxyalkyl groups and their preparation process. The above N (.omega.-glycidoxyalkyl)-substituted amide compounds can be obtained by reacting amide compounds and halogensubstituted glycidyl ether compounds in the presence of a strong basic substance in an aprotic polar solvent. These compounds have uses in adhesives, etc.
