The invention relates to a method of pointing out indications which may originate from targets and an arrangement for implementing the method. The following stages are performed in the order indicated: a) searching for distance samples which are local maxima among distance samples collected in the distance direction and the doppler direction; b) searching among local maxima found for the distance samples for peaks which project upwards to at least a given level from the surrounding environment; c) reduction of peaks found according to stages a) and b) above which relate to the same target or are caused by reverberation. By performing said stages, a reliable pointing-out of an indication which may originate from a target is obtained. The arrangement is uncomplicated in its construction and as a result has high functional reliability and a low production cost. |
