PURPOSE:To make it possible to bring a magnet into the state of high efficiency and high density by a method wherein thermosetting resin is added to the magnet powder having the fundamental composition of rare-earth and the cobalt which is partially replaced with a transition metal, they are mixed in an organic solvent and then compression-molded. CONSTITUTION:The rare-earth magnet alloy, consisting of Sm(CobalFe0.3Cu0.07 Zr0.04) is pulverized into 177mum or less, and after epoxy resin of 3wt.% has been added to the above material, trichloroethane is added, the powder is mixed by a mixer, and the mixture is compression-molded in the magnetic field of 15kOe. As the powder is kneaded in an organic solvent, it is kneaded uniformly, and the magnet obtained by compression-molding has high density and high efficiency. |
