PURPOSE:To minimize the shifting of a dot line pitch by delaying a dot line pulse in accordance with delay in the rotation of a DC motor with the aid of a DC motor rotation clock signal and an encoder feedback signal. CONSTITUTION:The title device is equipped with a delay circuit 8 so that the dot line pulse A is delayed according to the delay in the rotation of the DC motor 6 by means of the rotation clock signal E of the DC motor 6 and the feedback signal F of an encoder 7. As a result, the dot line pulse A can be generated coincidentally with the rotation of the DC motor 6. By this means, the shifting of the dot line pitch can be minimized when the rotation speed of the DC motor varies due to the load fluctuation of an exposure drum.
