PURPOSE:To reduce variation in the energization force of a cartridge due to the inclining angle of the cartridge by associating a coil spring in the cartridge at the front side from the pivot of the cartridge in elevational direction, bringing the lower end of the spring into pressure contact with a ribbon base to apply the energization force to the cartridge. CONSTITUTION:A containing hole 12 as a guide is formed elevationally at substantially intermediate position between the pivot 6b and the end 6a of a cartridge 6. The hole 12 is formed from the lower face of the cartridge 6 to the vicinity of the upper face, and the outer periphery of a cylindrical holder 13 is slidably engaged with the inner periphery. A coil spring 14 is disposed in the holder 13: the upper end of the spring 14 is brought into pressure contact with the upper end wall 12a of the hole 12, and the lower end is brought into contact with the lower end wall 13a of the holder 13. The lower face of the lower end wall 13a of the holder 13 is formed in a spherical shape, and the lower face is brought into contact with the guide face 5b on a ribbon base 6 by the force of the spring 14. A follower 6d of the cartridge 6 is brought into pressure contact with the cam face 9a of the switching cam 9 of the spring 14 under a predetermined reference pressure. |
