PURPOSE:To easily check a function at a production field by constituting an information device of a self-diagnosis function means, a fault detection checking means, a detected fault information deciding means, a detected fault informing means, a check input deciding means, an information apparatus raising means, and a detected fault information deciding information setting means. CONSTITUTION:When power is supplied to the information apparatus, a CPU executes a self-diagnosis mechanism in accordance with an instruction from a ROM to check essential contents for the use of the information apparatus prior to the use. At the time of detecting a fault, its information is stored in a RAM and the existence of a detected fault is checked by using a fault detection checking mechanism. When the fault is detected, decision to inform the fault detection or not is executed on the basis of information set up in a non- volatile RAM included in the information apparatus. When the necessity of information is decided, the decision is informed to a user by a detected fault informing means, after waiting operator's check, the information apparatus is raised. When the unnecessity of information is decided, the apparatus is immediately raised. |
