发明名称 MANUFACTURE OF RARE-EARTH MAGNET
摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the magnet characteristics by improving the orientation of crystal grains by a method wherein, in the molding process to be conducted in a magnetic field on the R2T14B alloy powder having Nd, Fi and B as the main ingredients, application of magnetic field and pressure are conducted simultaneously using a parallel magnetic field forming method, and besides, the title magnet is molded by conducting a magnetic field application process and a compressing process intermittently. CONSTITUTION:After an ingot composed of Nd of 31.5%, B of 1.1% and, the remaining part consisting of Fe has been formed, it is pulverized into the average particle diameter of about 3mum. The pulverized powder is compression-molded into a disc shape of about 13mm in diameter and about 10mm in height by applying the initial magnetic field of 10kOe, the molding pressure of 1ton/cm<2> and the orientational magnetic field along the direction of pressure using a parallel magnetic field molding method. The application of magnetic field and pressure application are synchronized using either of the molding method, wherein the direction of application of magnetic field and the compressing direction are intermittently used in the molding in magnetic field, and another intermittently molding method while the application direction of magnetic field is being inverted in forward and reverse directions. Consequently, as the molding work makes progress while the turbulence of orientation of the powder in compression-molding is being corrected, the magnetic characteristics of Br and (BH)max can be improved.
