<p>Improvements made to devices for applying labels onto pieces of sausage or similar preparations. The pieces of sausage 1 are tipped transversely one after the other into a loop formed by a continuous flexible belt 2 whose advance gives rise to the pivoting of the sausage about its axis and the extraction of a label 3 which is bonded onto the surface of the piece of sausage; the loop of the continuous flexible belt 2 is formed by the advance of a transversely curved plate 4 fastened to lateral arms 5 and capable of oscillating between two points connected to respective connecting rods 8, 9, the upper connecting rod 8 pivoting about a fixed point 10, whilst the other connecting rod 9 is fixed to a pinion 11 whose rotation is produced by the advance of a rack 12 driven by a hydraulic or pneumatic cylinder 13. <IMAGE></p> |
