Frame section corner connector

To form a right angle joint between a top (5) and side (6) member for an window frame, holes are made, into which special securing pins are bolts are fitted. A pin (2) is fitted into a hole made in the end of the side member and a second pin 81) inserted in the end of the top member. Its projecting end fits over the projecting end of the first pin, and the two ends are locked together by a screw (4) inset into the frame material. The corner joint is strengthed by a longer bolt (3) inserted into a hole at 45 degrees to the other two holes, also inset into the frame mateiral. The stem of this bolt passes through a clearance hole in the second pin and its threaded end screws into a tapped hole in the first pin.
