PURPOSE:To make it possible to display decision information on a screen even at the time of rapid decision by displaying the decision information on a display means by using the 2nd synchronizing signal independently of the 1st synchronizing signal. CONSTITUTION:At the time of no execution of decision, i.e., at the time of an interval between respective decisions, all circuits are driven synchronously with a synchronizing signal 51a generated by a synchronizing signal generating circuit 51. When a decision start signal DS is inputted from the external, a synchronizing signal switching circuit 53 switches a synchronizing signal 53a to be applied to a pattern discriminating circuit 3 or the like from the present synchronizing signal 51a to a synchronizing signal 52a outputted from a synchronizing signal generating circuit 52 to be driven synchronously with the signal DS to execute decision. At that time, only a character display circuit 41 is still driven by the signal 51a, so that character information can be displayed without being disturbed even during the period of decision. |
