PURPOSE:To improve the rate of utilizing channels by comparing the note numbers of the oldest channel and the channel oldest next thereto and assigning the note number to the channel of the larger number if the note number corresponding to a pushed key is new and there is no vacancy in the assigned pronunciation channel. CONSTITUTION:The oldest note number stored in a memory 4 and the note number oldest next thereto are compared and the smaller note number is made to remain and is assigned to the channel under pronunciation corresponding to the larger note number if, for example, the two channels are assumed to be the note numbers to be assigned to the pronunciation channel in case in which the pushed key 1 is not stored in the memory 4, i.e., is new and is not currently under pronunciation. The rate of using the channels is thereby increased. |
