PURPOSE:To rapidly sort image data into plural planes by a line width value by executing raster operation based on image data and plural rough planes. CONSTITUTION:The 1st-4th rough planes 32A-32D are formed by line width data obtained by weighting black picture elements in 4 directions, i.e. vertical, horizontal and oblique directions, and plural previously set line width data. When the raster operation of image data stored in an image data memory 31 and respective pair memories 32a-32D is executed by a raster computing circuit 33, an excessively painted-out part is deleted and the objective 1st-4th planes are sorted and stored in the 1st-4th plane memories 34A-34D. Since the image data can be sorted by plural plane raster operations, the processing time can be shortened. |
