PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of the operation panel of the title device by providing a reset key input detecting means and specific percussion input detecting means and setting a mode switching means to the automatic rhythm mode by supplying the output of both detecting means to a key input discriminating means. CONSTITUTION:A discriminating means 21 discriminates that the outputs of both of a specific percussion key input detecting means 25a or 25b constituting part of a percussion key and reset key input detecting means 24 are obtained and sets a mode switching means 22 to the automatic rhythm mode. If the output of the specific percussion key input detecting means 25 is not obtained when the output of the reset key input detecting means 24 is obtained, the mode switching means 22 is set to the manual mode and rhythm sounds corresponding to percussion keys are produced from a producing means. In the automatic mode, rhythm sounds are automatically produced from the producing means after the kind of the rhythm sounds is selected by means of the percussion keys. |
