PURPOSE:To eliminate original positioning and displacement by permitting one means to carry out reading operation for specifying the area of an image to be processed and reading operation for processing an actual image. CONSTITUTION:An original input means 1 reads out an image of an original 25, and converts it into electrical signals. First digitized image data is converted into 2nd image data of low resolution through a sampling circuit 7, and is stored in a 1st memory 8. The image data stored in the memory 8 is displayed on a liquid crystal display part 10, and the area of the image to be processed is specified through a cursor and is stored in a 2nd memory 11. The means 1 again reads the image of the original 25 to obtain the 1st image data, following which it is data-converted according to information in the memory 11 and outputted as 3rd image data. It is printed to an image output part 26 composed of a plate making part 27 and a printer part 28. |
