PURPOSE:To make a small-sized sensor and make an easy assembly of an entire combustion safety device by a method wherein a light from a flame of a burner is transmitted to a light sensor through an optical fiber and then the optical fiber, a controlling unit and a shielding valve are assembled into an intergral unit. CONSTITUTION:An ignition plug 5 is installed within a combustion air supplying passage 1a of a burner 1 and an optical fiber 6 is arranged in a fuel supplying passage 1b. An optical fiber 6 is connected to an optical sensor 7a arranged in a controlling unit 7, a light from a flame of a burner 1 is transmitted to the light sensor 7a through a fiber 6. A combustion state can be detected by a controlling unit 7 in reference to information sent from the light detector 7a. The optical fiber 6, the controlling unit 7 and a shielding valve V2 are assembled into an integral unit so as to simplify their assembling work. The controlling unit 7 may automatically operate pressure regulators 4a and 4b, a flow rate adjusting valve V3, a shielding valve V2 and an ignition plug 5 in reference to information from an inputting unit 8 for terminating the operation. |
