PURPOSE:To contrive an increase in the stiffness of the constituent members of a separating mechanism by a method wherein the separating mechanism is constituted of a die forming part formed by notching part of a wire guidance groove, which is a conveying guide for a twin wire, a separating block which slides in the direction to intersect orthogonally with the conveying direction of the twin wire and a driving means for driving the separating block. CONSTITUTION:A separating mechanism is equipped with a die forming part 6 formed by notching part of a wire guidance groove 5, which is a conveying guide for a twin wire 20, and a separating block 10, which is provided slidingly to the part 6 set up in the form of intersecting orthogonally to the conveying direction of the wire 20, that is, the forming direction (longitudinal direction) of the groove 5. Moreover, the part 6 has a depth equivalent to half (1/2W) of the width W of the groove 5 and such a width B that the block 10 can be engaged by loose fitting. Thereby, as the width B' of the block 10 can be adjusted according to the need, the strength of the block 10 is ensured. |
