Screening cabin

A screening cabin for radio-frequency magnetic fields, especially for magnetic resonance imaging (nuclear magnetic resonance tomography) in medicine, has a supporting framework consisting of metallic profile carriers (1), which is covered with wall plates (2). Each wall plate carries a metallic screening surface (5) which is pressed against the profile carrier (1) by means of screws (6). The profile carrier (1) overlaps the butt joint (3) between the wall plates (2), so that high attenuation is achieved. <IMAGE>
