Flexible clamping device

The invention relates to a flexible clamping device for placing parts in the measurement volume of coordinate measuring machines. The novel, flexible clamping device is essentially characterised in that a base plate is provided with clamping holes arranged in a specific fixed grid spacing, the clamping holes being bordered by grooves extending in parallel in the base plate, and in that the clamping holes are assigned precision base bodies which are rotationally locked and have standardised clamping lugs.
