In order to adhesively bond door-sealing profiles to motor-vehicle doors, it is proposed according to the invention to move the motor-vehicle door with an industrial robot in such a way that the seal is pressed onto the fastening surface via a pressure roller arranged in a fixed position. Here, the seal is preferably provided as a cut-to-length, finite seal with applied adhesive layer.
