Improvements in plaster production

The improvement in plaster production mainly resides in the fact that a member of freeze-dried, heterologous collagen is applied onto the tacky side of an adhesive bandage in order to produce a prophylactic arrangement which includes haemostatic, keratoplastic and antiseptic effects. Between the collagen and the adhesive bandage a part is preferably firmly applied in the form of a film or the like which adheres to the adhesive bandage with a higher bonding strength than to the collagen part to which medicinal agents or additional agents are added, if desired, in order to enhance the prophylactic, activating or healing effect. The finished arrangement is hermetically sealed and thereafter sterilised.
