A filter device comprises a filter pot having a conical rim surface 23, an adaptor 14 supported on the rim, on which adaptor are mounted filter candles projecting downwards into the pot and from which are moulded feed and outlet connection nozzles 24, 26, projecting upwards. On the adaptor 14 is mounted a film bag 18 hanging into the pot which film bag prevents escape of the dirt during filter change. A further cover 19 is mounted on the filter pot, which cover is provided with encircling branches 29, 31 for the feed and outlet nozzles 24, 26, which stick out a relatively long way upwards and which are received therein elastically tightly. On changing the filter insert (adaptor 14 with filter candles and film bag 18), the liquid remaining between the shut-off elements in the feed and outlet lines and the encircling nozzles 29, 31 can still be collected in the somewhat broadened film bag 18 and then, as a consequence of the high-standing feed and outlet nozzles 24, 26, cannot escape into the surroundings. This is an easing of the maintenance of the filter apparatus, in particular in the case of hazardous liquids. <IMAGE>
