Benzotriazoles of the formula I <IMAGE> I in which R1 and R2 are located in the ortho-position or para-position relative to the OH group and at least one of these substituents in an alpha -branched alkyl group containing a polar group M in the omega -position are liquid or low-melting compounds which absorb UV light and can be used as stabilizers for organic materials. M can be, for example, an ester or amide group. R3 can be H, Cl, alkyl, alkoxy or a carboxyl group. |
