<p>A thermostat assembly comprises a housing (1, 2) having at least a first portion (1) and a second portion (2) which are releasably attachable together by means of respective interengageable parts (7, 14) provided on the first and second housing portions. The housing, which may be of coloured plastic material, has a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet, and contains a thermostat (3) operable to control the flow of fluid between the inlet and the outlet.
