PURPOSE:To eliminate cross talk, by driving respective heat energy acting parts so as to generate phase difference and to differentiate an energy waveform when liquid droplets are simultaneously emitted from adjacent orifices. CONSTITUTION:The ink droplets 2a, 3a emitted from the orifices 2, 3 of a bubble jet type recording head 1 fly at the same flight speed but are not arranged in one row, because the emitting timings from the orifices are different, to be recorded on moving recording paper 4 as pixels 2b, 3b. Hereupon, the waveform A of the energy applied to the heat energy acting part of the orifice 3 is set so that the rising of the energy to be applied becomes faster with respect to the waveform B of the energy to the orifice 2 to perform recording at the original position of a pixel 3b'. By this method, cross talk is eliminated and the dot position on the surface of paper is also held to high accuracy and a high quality image can be obtained. |
