PURPOSE:To improve heat resistance, color fastness to light, and regenerative deterioration resistance, by forming an optical data recording medium by provid ing a recording layer containing one or more compound selected from two kinds of compounds represented by specific formulae on a substrate. CONSTITUTION:An optical information recording medium is formed by providing a recording layer, which contains one or more kind of a compound selected from a compound represented by formula I (wherein R1-R4 are a 1-12C alkyl group, a dialkylamino group, an aryl group or hydrogen and X is O, S or Se) and a compound represented by formula II (wherein R7-R10 are a 1-12C alkyl group, and A1 and A2 are an aryl group which is substituted with hydrogen, halogen, an alkoxy group or a dialkylamino group or a non-substituted aryl group), on a substrate directly or through a primer layer. If necessary, a protec tive layer may be provided on the recording layer. |
