<p>PURPOSE:To control clogging of a filter resulting from dross which has been inhibited from being passed through the filter by forming both an aperture region introduced with molten metal and an aperture region capable of tapping molten metal to the lower region of the filter surrounded by a partition member in the title equipment main body. CONSTITUTION:A partition plate 16 L-shaped in the cross-section is provided so as to surround a tapping port 13 to the corner part in a body equipment main body 10 having a molten metal inflow port 11 and the tapping port 13 and the molten metal passage holes 17, 18 are formed at the lower end parts of the two-side walls exposed to the inside of the main body 10. Further a filter 19 is provided between the passage holes 17, 18 and the tapping hole 13 in the region surrounded with the partition plate 16. The molten metal introduced into the main body 10 through the inlet 11 forms both the flow discharged through the tapping port 13 after passing the filter 19 as shown in the arrows 20, 23 and the flow returned to the main body 10 after washing the rear surface of the filter 19 as shown in the arrows 20, 22. Therefore, since the inclusion remaining in the lower region of the filter 19 exists only in the narrow region between the rear surface of the filter 19 and the upper end edge of the passage hole 18, the quantity is little and also constant and is not increased with time.</p> |
