1. A headbox system for a paper-making machine with a distribution box (1) and a guide device (2) connected thereto for guiding a suspension of fibre materials in the direction of the machine (M) and for distributing the suspension across the width of the paper-making machine, the guide device (2) leading into a jet chamber (3) which has two limiting lips (4, 5) and a delivery gap (6) leading to the paper-making machine past a baffle (9), and at least one limiting lip (4, 5) of the jet chamber (3) having at least two sections (7, 8) inclined at different angles (alpha, beta) counter to the direction of flow (M) of the suspension in the jet chamber, the angle of inclination (alpha) of the section (7) of the upper lip (4) defining the jet chamber (3) and directly adjoining the guide device (2) being between 0 degree and 30 degrees, characterised in that the angle of inclination of the section (8) of the upper lip (4) located directly in front of the delivery gap (6) is between 60 degrees and 90 degrees, the length (x) of section (7) being a multiple of the length (y) of section (8).
