PURPOSE:To most economically replace an ink cartridge receiving each color ink, by constituting the title recording head so that at least two kinds of ink receiving chambers or bags are provided in the manner that the ink receiving volumes thereof are not necessarily equalized. CONSTITUTION:An ink cartridge 10 is integrally formed and respective ink receiving chambers 11-14 are formed so as to be capable of independently receiving different inks and the volumes of said chambers are made unequal necessarily. Said volumes are determined according to the amounts of inks to be used and planned so that the volume of the ink receiving chamber of ink used in large quantities is made large and that of the ink receiving chamber of a small amount of ink is made small. Therefore, the respective color inks can be emptied at the almost same period and, when the monolithic type ink cartridge 10 is discarded, the wasting of the inks can be eliminated. |
