<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a printing ink composition excellent in boiling resistance, retorting resistance and nonstickiness as a printed matter and excellent in adhesiveness to a film, by using a urethane resin obtained by reacting a specified polymer diol with an organic diisocyanate and a chain extender as the principal binder. CONSTITUTION:This printing ink composition compresses a polyurethane resin which is soluble in an organic solvent and obtained by reacting a polymer diol with an organic diisocyanate and a chain extender, wherein said polymer diol is one based on a polyester diol having a number-average MW of 500-4000 and containing structural units (I) of formula I and structural units (II) of formula II in a (I) to (II) molar ratio of 0/100-100/0 as the units derived from said diol and structural units (III) of formula III (wherein R is a 4-12C alkylene group which may be branched) and structural units (IV) of formula IV (wherein Ar is a 6-10C arylene group) in a (III) to (IV) molar ratio of 1/9-9/1.</p> |
