A cpd. of polypeptide of formula (I) prepd. by reacting a compd. of (III) formula (II) with a compd. of formula (III). In the formulas, R1 is H or Me; X is O, NH2, C1-4 alkylamino, cyclohexylmethylamino, benzylamino, omega-aminohexyl-amino or methoxycarbonylmethyl amino; R2 is LysPhe, LysPhe-methyl ester. LysPheamide, LysSta, NH2, C1-4 alkylamino, C3-4 alkyl, 4-imidazolylethylamine, omega- aminohexylamino, benzoyloxy, omegacyanipentylamino or reduced IlePhe; R3 is H, omega-aminohexyl or omega-cyanopentyl; R4 is C3-4 alkyl. (I) is rennin inhibitors useful for the treatment of hypertension and congestive heart failure. |
