The uninterruptable power supply which is able to operate simply without a complicated starting technique, has a chopper which steps up voltage of DC power input and supplies the output with fixed or modulated pulse width to the inverter. A controlled rectifier receives the first AC voltage and converts the first AC power voltage into the first DC output voltage. A battery supplies the second DC output voltage, and the inverter receives the stepped-up voltage, which is generated by the step-up chopper, for converting the step-up voltage into the AC output of the power supply. |
