PURPOSE:To enhance labor saving and productivity by automating the replacing work of the plate cylinder present in use with a new one, by subjecting the transfer operation of the first - third transfer devices and the rising and falling operation of a lift table to program control. CONSTITUTION:A controller 20 is constituted so that the phase of the key 15 of a support apparatus 14 on a transmission side is matched by a constant phase stop apparatus to raise a lift table 45 to the position of the present plate cylinder 100 and support apparatuses 14, 33 on operation and transmission sides are retracted to transfer the present plate cylinder 100 to the first transfer apparatus 44 and subsequently allowed to fall to be transferred to the second transfer apparatus on a moving stand 61. Next, the moving stand 61 is moved and the new plate cylinder 200 placed on the third transfer apparatus is moved in matching relation to the first transfer apparatus 44 and the lift table 45 is raised to be supported by the support apparatuses 14, 33 on the transmission and operation sides to support the new plate cylinder 200 in a freely rotatable manner. By this method, the replacing work of the present plate cylinder and the new one can be automated, and labor saving and productivity can be enhanced. |
