<p>The construction component is three-dimensional, self-locking, and permits formation of straight, angled, arc-form or vaulted structures without adhesive or binder. It has opposed cones in peripheral positions, comprising alternating convex whole and concave half cones which impart a significant sinus curve to each side. Where several such structures are combined in alternating assembly (with half overlapping) they interweave like the loops in a knitted garment. Precision is obtained by the sloping cone sides engaging in each other alternately and providing a large joint surface. The hollow spaces in the cones can be filled with suitable insulating material.</p> |
