PURPOSE:To enhance operating efficiency by performing averaging processing at a highspeed, by providing an averaging means for applying averaging processing on the basis of the multivalent data supplied from a multivalent data reading means and a data holding means for holding averaged data to supply the same to a post processing apparatus. CONSTITUTION:The output data from an image scanner 1 as a multivalent data reading means is supplied to a data averaging circuit 2 and the averaged data is stored in a memory 3. The averaged data read from the memory 3 is supplied to a printer interface 4 to form the dot pattern data corresponding to the averaged data and the dot pattern data is supplied to a digital printer 5. By supplying multivalent data to the data averaging circuit 2, the averaged data based on a predetermined number of multivalent data can be obtained to be stored in the memory 3. Since the averaged data is read from the memory 3 by the printer interface 4 and the dot pattern data corresponding to the averaged data is formed to be supplied to the digital printer 5, a printing image can be obtained from a dot pattern. |
