<p>LIQUID HEATING SYSTEM A vapor generator liquid heating system for discharging steam and non-condensible gases to a heat exchanger disposed therefrom. The heat exchanger is coupled to the vapor generator and adapted for receiving counter-current flow of heated steam and gases in a first direction and fluid to be heated in a second direction. The heat exchanger has a first upper region adapted for receiving the flow of fluid to be heated therein and an intermediate region adapted for receiving a packing bed of heat exchanger elements such as plastic or metal pawl rings. A lower region of the heat exchanger is adapted for accumulation of heated fluid passing through the heat exchange packing bed. Water level and temperature feedback control systems are incorporated for automatic operation of the liquid heating system and the continuous production of heated liquid therefrom.</p> |
