PURPOSE:To obtain an oxygen sensor capable of measuring the accurate concn. of oxygen and generating no metal or NOx gas, by constituting a resin stem of a resole type phenol resin. CONSTITUTION:An oxygen sensor is constituted by embedding a pin 2 in a resole type resin stem 1 to fix the same to said molded stem 1. The upper end of the pin 2 has a protruding height of about 5mm and an oxygen sensor element 3 is mounted thereon in a suspended state. Since a resole type resin is of a self-curing property and a curing agent is not used like a novolac type phenol resin, said resin generates no ammonia and is not too inferior to mechanical strength and electric properties. Therefore, this oxygen sensor can measure the concn. of oxygen accurately, because no ammonia is generated from the resin stem. |
