PURPOSE:To obtain a grease composition having excellent rust proofness and capable of being used in a temperature range of -40-150 deg.C, by adding a specific thickening agent, a rust-proofing agent, and an antioxidant to a synthetic oil as a base oil. CONSTITUTION:A rust-proofing lubricating grease composition is obtained by mixing 70-95wt% base oil (A) of a viscosity of 8-35cSt at 37.8 deg.C (e.g., diester oil or polyolester oil), 5-15wt% thickening agent (B) (e.g., a lithium salt of a C10 to C34 fatty acid or a C12 to C24 hydroxyfatty acid, such as lithium stearate), 0.5- 5wt% rust-proofing agent (C) (e.g., dimer acids), 0.5-5wt% antioxidant (D) (e.g., a metal salt of a dialkyl-dithiocarbamic acid of the formula, where R1 and R2 are each a C1 to C4 alkyl group, M is Ni, Fe, Zn, or Na and n is a numeral corresponding to the valency of M), and 0.01-0.5wt% benzotriazole (E). |
