PURPOSE:To decrease the processing of the recesses of a figure and to enable the paint-out within the figure with high efficiency by dividing the inputted figure to projecting loops and generating the paint-out vector groups having components in the respective longitudinal directions of the projecting loops. CONSTITUTION:The intricate figure 2 (particularly the figure having the recesses) is divided to the easy-to-handle projecting loops 5. The projecting loops 5 after the division can be handled independently from each other and do not cross >=3 times with straight lines in arbitrary directions and, therefore, the respective projecting loop regions are painted out without sorting of the intersected points 6 in said directions. The vector expressing the loci of a spot 18, i.e., paint-out vectors 7 are so selected as to have the components in the longitudinal direction of the projecting loops 7 and, therefore, the number of the paint-out vectors 7 decreased. The paint-out in the figure is thus executed with the high efficiency even if the shape of the figure 2 is intricate. The paint- out data is thereby automatically formed at a high speed. |
