摘要 |
PURPOSE:To shorten the forming time of a superconductive substance by melting the part of the compositional ratio of A2B1Cu1O5 and the part of the compositional ratio of B3Cu5Oy to diffusion-react with each other in a liquid phase and to form a superconductor layer. CONSTITUTION:An oxide of the compositional ratio of A2B1Cu1O5 is press- formed into a formed body. A layer of oxide of the compositional ratio of B3Cu5Oy (5<=y<=15) is formed on the outer circumference of the formed body to be a precursor as a whole. The precursor is then packed into a metallic pipe to obtain a complex body. The product is processed with a wire drawing process to make a wire material 1. The wire material is heated at a temperature higher than the melting point of the A2B1Cu1O5 and lower than the melting point of the metallic pipe to manufacture an oxide-based superconductor wire 6. (The element A is in the group IIIa and the element B is in the group IIa.) This makes it possible to manufacture a superconductor of a high density of approximately zero porosity. This makes it possible to manufacture the superconductor wire 6 showing an excellent superconductive characteristic as well as a high mechanical strength. |
