1286027 Dyeing fibre mixtures FARBWERKE HOECHST AG 6 May 1970 [7 May 1969] 21727/70 Addition to 1187354 Heading D1B Mixtures of cellulose and cellulose triacetate or 2.5 acetate or of cellulose and polyacrylonitrile are dyed in a single bath with a reactive and a disperse dye by first treating in an alkaline dyebath at pH 9-12 containing both dyes at temperatures of 20-50‹C for the fibre blends containing 2.5- or tri-acetate and at 20-80‹C for blends containing polyacrylonitrile followed by a treatment at pH 3.5 to 6 at temperatures of 95-120‹C for blends containing triacetate or polyacrylonitrile and at 75-80‹C for blends containing 2.5-acetate fibres. Tone-in-tone and multicolour dyeings are obtained.
